NON-Compliant Portable Toilets

Here are some links to portable toilet manufactures. That sell a Non-compliant toilet. Some portable toilet company’s call these toilets Handicap. Infact they are NON-Compliant Toilet. If a portable toilet company should, use these types of toilets YOU are violating the ADA law. Some of these portable toilet companies are ignorant of the ADA law. Because the have been misinformed or don’t care!

Poly Portables The toilet that is blue in the picture is a Non-complaint toilet. Even though they make the claim, wheelchairs can fit inside successfully. They notify you in there website, this toilet is Non-ADA Approved. I’m not happy with that part of the statement. But some people can be confused by reading wheelchairs. I don’t think they should mention the word wheelchair, since the international symbol of accessiblity is a wheelchair.

Poly John Nice play on words!!! On there website reads: “Comfortable compact design ground level floor access WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE “. In 28 cfr part 36 ADA standards for accessible design section 3.5 Definitions :Accessible: Descibes a site, building, facility or portion thereof that complies with these guidlines. Poly John by making the statement Wheelchair accessible, your saying ADA Compliant. When in fact, it’s NON-Compliant. This is some of the reasons, portable toilet companies rent to the public the wrong toilet!

Satellite Industries This is my most favorate one! Please go to there website, to see all violation in the ADA law. “Wheelchair Accessible” and a backwards wheelchair, playing on the International symbol of accessiblity and using the word “accessible”. This is the biggest reason the general public thinks, this toilet is Compliant. When in fact, it’s NON-Compliant!

If You should know anymore that I have not mention. Please Let us know Thanks.
